Veneer Plaster:

While we have significant experience in traditional drywall construction, our preferred method for interior partitions is a 2-coat veneer plaster. The two-coat technique creates a first coat with a compressive strength of 2800 PSI, ensuring less shrinkage and eliminating the inherent flaws of drywall, which is not possible with a single coat system. The second is a smooth, white coat that unlike drywall doesn’t require sanding.

In terms of quality of finish and durability there is no comparison, and we can install veneer plaster systems at a cost competitive with or lower than any U.S. contractor using standard drywall construction.

Veneer plaster, also known as “blue-board” or “thin-coat,” is a hard, glass-smooth, monolithic, bright-white finish that can be used with virtually any design. With veneer plaster and steel framing virtually any ceiling or wall finish concept can be realized, without the surface imperfections common to drywall, including visible seams and butt joints, screw sinks, nail pops, ridging, and banding.
